This masterful Japanese-style daybed frame beautifully blends traditional craftsmanship with modern design. Crafted from 100% solid Indonesian Mahogany hardwood, it features clean lines and a stylish headboard. Sitting at a sleek, low-profile 8 inches high, the frame comes with a set of sturdy slats and is ideal for use with a standard twin mattress.
This frame is the perfect foundation for creating a custom DIY daybed. To build your ideal setup, simply add a 4-to-8-inch thick twin-size mattress wrapped in a stylish futon cover. The daybed is best utilized when placed flush against a wall to provide a sturdy resting place for your lateral back pillows. Additionally, since the wooden side panels are 6 inches wide, utilizing bolster pillows alongside your standard back cushions will offer the best support and fit for your new lounging space.
