Love 'em!

We love these mats! My wife and I had been struggling with chronic back pain, so we decided to switch to a firmer sleeping setup. A king-size tatami mat paired with a futon mattress. This was actually a return to our previous sleeping style, as we had used a queen-size version before switching to a more "traditional American-style" mattress when upgrading to a king. Our back pain started about two years after that change, but I wasn't sure if it was the mattress or the more sedentary lifestyle we’d adopted. Coincidentally, a week after ordering the tatami mats and futon, I had a severe flare-up of back pain. The new setup arrived just in time! We gave it a few days to adjust, and while we woke up stiff at first (as is normal with any new mattress), by day 3, the back pain was completely gone. After weeks of chiropractor visits with no improvement, I fully credit the tatami mats for saving my back. The delivery process was smooth. The king-size tatami mat comes in two smaller mats that fit side by side. We inspected the boxes before signing, and they arrived in perfect condition. The delivery team even worked with us to schedule a short window so we didn’t have to wait all day. The mats have a slight straw smell, which we love, but just be aware of it if you're sensitive to scents.

King Size Tatami Mats

We absolutely love our king set of tatami mats! They arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The thickness is much better than a set we had years ago from a different retailer.
