This solid hardwood bed is free from MDF, engineered wood, particleboard, fiberboard, veneer, and laminate, ensuring a high-quality, sustainable construction.
Is the bed eco-friendly?
Yes, the bed is made from sustainably sourced beech wood and finished with a natural hand-rubbed linseed oil, which is non-toxic and zero-VOC. The wood glue used is also non-toxic, water-based, formaldehyde-free, and safe for both adults and children. Additionally, the bed does not off-gas, so there's no need to air it out, though doing so won’t hurt.
Are there any plastic components or adhesives?
The drawers are equipped with all-metal glides. All adhesives used in construction are non-toxic, water-based, zero-VOC, and formaldehyde-free.
How much storage space do the drawers provide?
This storage bed features single or double-layer drawers that can be placed on one or both sides. These drawers offer ample space for clothing, bedding, or other items, making the bed a great space-saving solution. The drawers are designed with smooth-gliding metal tracks.

Twin sizes ship fully assembled but can also be shipped unassembled in flat boxes if requested at the time of purchase, making it easier to fit through tight spaces. Other sizes, such as Full, Queen, and King, ship assembled in two pieces with connecting hardware included. However, these sizes can also be shipped unassembled in flat boxes if requested, providing flexibility for delivery in spaces with limited access.
Does the bed require a box spring?
No, the bed includes a solid slat system, which provides direct mattress support. You may also opt for a Coconut Coir Bed Rug, a natural, chemical-free option that allows air circulation under your mattress.
